Hello, sweet friends and cat lovers!
Welcome back to the third chapter of our “Tiny Explorers” series here on nekodate.
Every month on the 10th, we take a moment to look at the world through the eyes of kittens under 8 weeks old—where every leaf is a giant and every fruit is a mystery.
This May, the sun is shining, and the garden has turned into a delicious, emerald-green wilderness.
Lost in the Berry Patch
As the breeze carries the scent of early summer, our little adventurer for this month decided to go deep into the “Strawberry Jungle.”
Meet our 6-week-old explorer, a tiny ball of fur who discovered that nature sometimes hides the brightest treasures right at ground level.

A Giant, Sweet Mystery
In this stunning shot, we see the exact moment curiosity takes over.
To a kitten this small, a single ripe strawberry isn’t just a snack—it’s a giant, glowing red orb!
Captured from a low-angle perspective, the strawberry plants tower over our Tiny Explorer, creating a true jungle atmosphere.
Look at those wide, shimmering eyes!
You can almost feel her heart racing as she tentatively raises a paw to investigate this strange, red object. Is it a toy?
Is it a flower?
The intense focus in her gaze tells us that for her, this is the most important mission in the world.
Small Steps, Sweet Rewards
Exploring the world requires a lot of courage when you are only the size of a teacup.
This tiny quest reminds us that beauty is everywhere, as long as we are brave enough to look for it among the leaves.
She may not have known what a strawberry was before today, but she certainly knows now that the world is a very sweet place indeed.
Let’s Purr About It!
